Welcome to the UN-REDD Flagship Knowledge page where you will find a curated and comprehensive selection of our knowledge products; from those that bring together the past 10+ years of UN-REDD expertise and best practice; to the most current topics and knowledge from our broad range of Programme experts.
The REDD+ Academy is the UN-REDD Programme's capacity development initiative. As part of the Programme's knowledge management support to partner countries, it seeks to enable systematic, focused capacity development to deliver REDD+ on the ground..
The three pillars of the REDD+ Academy;
1. Learning Journals- they provide practical resources and tools that support REDD+ implementation while strengthening understanding of key REDD+ concepts globally.
2. Learning Labs – capacity-building and knowledge-sharing events focused on practical REDD+ implementation. These sessions address emerging challenges and opportunities in areas such as social inclusion, results-based finance and forest carbon markets.
3. Communities of Practice (CoPs) – collaborative platforms that bring together countries, donors and technical stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experiences on REDD+ implementation.
