Connecting social forestry enterprises with supply chains and finance

The Forest Investments Marketplace will convene governments, forest-based enterprises, investors and technical partners to explore how social forestry and sustainable forest enterprises can better access supply chains and investment.

The event will focus on building incubation pipelines and aligning enterprise development with jurisdictional REDD+ (JREDD) frameworks, helping translate forest conservation outcomes into viable business and financing opportunities.

Objectives

The Marketplace will:

• Connect key actors, linking forest enterprise support organizations, incubators, buyers, investors and jurisdictional programmes to create clearer pathways to finance and markets.

• Strengthen capacity through the REDD+ Academy, exploring how JREDD+ frameworks can interface with supply chains, sourcing strategies and investment structures.

• Define practical follow-up actions to align enterprise incubation, private sourcing and investment flows with jurisdictional REDD+ approaches.
