The Programme currently supports 19 partner countries in Africa. Five countries- the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Nigeria, the Republic of Congo, Tanzania, and Zambia, have benefitted from full National Programmes.

Other UN-REDD Programme partner countries in Africa include Benin, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, South Sudan, the Republic of the Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Of these countries, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, South Sudan and the Republic of Sudan have received targeted support from the UN-REDD Global Programme’s Support to National REDD+ Action (SNA).
